In 2007 alone, Millsport earned nine awards for its sports marketing programs, including a prestigious Cannes Gold Lion, Promo PRO Award, Globes Award, Stevie Award, Ex Award, and a Bill Veeck Sports Marketing Award from St. Louis University.
Torino Winter Olympics
Objective
Design a once-in-a-lifetime program for AT&T’s top clients to foster lasting relationships.Strategy
• Make it "first class all the way," from flights to lodging to A-level Olympic tickets.• Provide a combination of mementos and practical room-drops each night, including a specialized AT&T collectors pin created just for their guests.
• Create an agenda that allows for plenty of relationship-building time for AT&T executives and their guests.
Results
• This was a memorable experience for those attending and the letters of thanks and praise that spoke of “family” and “relationship with AT&T” are a testament to that.• The Marketing Arm has been asked to repeat this successful program at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
