Mike Bartelli promoted to president, Millsport Motorsports

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -– The Marketing Arm has promoted Mike Bartelli to president of its Millsport motorsports division. Bartelli joined Millsport as vice president in May 2000 when he was hired to build Millsport’s motorsports practice. The agency opened its Charlotte office the following year. He was promoted to senior vice president in 2002.“For seven years, Mike and his team have consistently created breakthrough programs for their motorsports clients – ones that genuinely engage consumers and build brands,” said Dan Belmont, president of Millsport and chief marketing officer of The Marketing Arm. “The division’s growth is a credit to his leadership and vision.”
Prior to joining Millsport, Bartelli served as vice president for business development for Action Performance. He has additional experience with International Speedway Corporation (ISC) where he served as director of marketing partnerships.
Bartelli was named to the 2005 Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Journal's “Forty Under 40” list of the industry's top achievers under the age of 40. He serves on the Charlotte board of directors for the National Sports Marketing Network, the national trade organization for the sports business industry.
